The best charisma course in 2026 is Magnetic Charisma by Vanessa Van Edwards on Mindvalley, because it is a focused 14-day programme of daily video lessons of about 20 minutes. Volo is not a course, so it is ranked last as a daily-practice companion.
Charisma is a set of behaviours you can change, but a course only describes them. The ones that stick pair a clear framework with repetition.
How we compared charisma courses
We compared each provider’s own pages as of September 2026 on four points: who teaches it, how long it takes, whether it is video-only or includes live coaching, and what the provider says about access and cost. Where a page does not publish a price, we do not quote one.
1. Magnetic Charisma (Mindvalley)
Magnetic Charisma is a 14-day online programme taught by Vanessa Van Edwards. Mindvalley’s page lists daily lessons of about 20 minutes, 3.5 hours of training in total, and access on computers, tablets, smartphones and Apple TV. It covers memorable presence, empathy, managing social anxiety and influence. The page does not show a price, and says enrolment requires a Mindvalley Membership.
Best for: a focused 14-day charisma programme. Mindvalley
2. Communicating with Charisma (LinkedIn Learning)
Communicating with Charisma is a 22-minute LinkedIn Learning course by Vanessa Van Edwards, released in February 2020. It presents charisma as a skill that can be learned, and covers warmth and competence, charismatic language and body language, first impressions and eye contact. LinkedIn Learning shows a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 2,852 learners. It is the quickest way to see whether the topic suits you.
Best for: a 22-minute introduction. LinkedIn Learning
3. People School (Science of People)
People School is a broader people skills programme from the Science of People site. The site describes 12 foundational people skills, from first impressions to influence, with live workshops and coaching and a SHRM-certified credential on completion. The homepage does not state a price or total duration. It is wider than charisma alone.
Best for: broader people skills with live workshops. Science of People
4. Dale Carnegie Course
The Dale Carnegie Course is a live programme on confidence, communication and leadership. Dale Carnegie’s site describes formats such as once a week for 8 weeks, once a week for 12 weeks, or 3 consecutive days, with a Learn from Anywhere option. It is a general confidence course, not a charisma course by name, but it gives you an instructor and a group to practise with. See is the Dale Carnegie Course worth it.
Best for: confidence with an instructor and a group. Dale Carnegie
5. Volo
Volo is not a course, and it is a daily-practice companion to one. It is a mobile app whose lessons split charisma into habits: body language (walking into a room, the genuine smile, posture, eye contact), conversation, and vocal delivery. It has 7 skill tracks and 79 lessons of 2 to 4 minutes.
The 25 AI roleplays include introducing yourself at a party and joining a conversation full of strangers, and you can type or speak. Teleprompter measures words per minute, filler-word count and longest pause. The free How You Come Across test places you in one of four archetypes. Limitation: there is no web or desktop version, and the AI roleplays are rehearsal rather than real conversations.
Best for: daily practice of the habits a course describes. Volo on the App Store · Charisma with Volo
What should you look for in a charisma course?
Look for a course that breaks charisma into behaviours you can practise, not a promise of a new personality. Good material names specific parts, such as warmth, competence, eye contact, posture and pace, and gives you something to try after each lesson. Check the instructor, the total time and whether there is any live component. A short course is a cheap way to test the approach before you commit to a longer programme.
How do the charisma courses compare?
Magnetic Charisma is the most focused charisma-only programme, while the LinkedIn Learning course is the shortest.
| Option | Provider | Format | Time as published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magnetic Charisma | Mindvalley | Daily video lessons | 14 days, 3.5 hours |
| Communicating with Charisma | LinkedIn Learning | Video course | 22 minutes |
| People School | Science of People | Online with live coaching | 12 modules |
| Dale Carnegie Course | Dale Carnegie | Instructor-led | 8 or 12 weekly sessions, or 3 days |
| Volo | Volo | Mobile app | 2 to 4 minutes a lesson |
Can a charisma course make you more charismatic?
A course can give you the framework, and daily practice is what changes how you come across. The framework taught in the LinkedIn Learning course is warmth and competence, and each half is a set of behaviours: eye contact, posture, pace, listening. Watch the lessons, then pick one behaviour and use it in real conversations that week. For app-based options, see the best charisma apps.
